Building the New Kennel

This is what we had after one day of work.

At the end of week two, the trusses were up and the plumbing was being roughed in.

Three weeks into the project, and we were still framing. But the plumbing was roughed in and the dirt floor was graded.

Here you can see the roof is on, the concrete floor was poured,
the exterior framing was done and the doors and windows are in.

Now it looks like a real building! Note the framing for the
indoor/outdoor dog run doors--they're on both sides.

The utilities are in! And the building looks so much nicer with the green trim, doesn't it?
On the inside the construction
of walls has started, too. Not bad for just under two months!

Here you can see the interior is being framed and the
heating system is being installed at the two month mark.

Well, it turns out we WERE able to build the kitchen along
with the rest of the building. This was just before Christmas
.
